Tzu Chi New Jersey's 15th birthday (2010/04/24) The New Jersey Tzu Chi Chapter recently celebrated its 15th anniversary. Looking back over its history, its current executive director, Lin Lvrong was the state's first Tzu Chi volunteer. Over the years, the chapter has expanded to 1,000 volunteers and over 10,000 members.
Tzu Chi New Jersey to celebrate 15 years (2010/04/15) Tzu Chi volunteers in New Jersey of the United States will be holding a series of 15th Anniversary events, beginning on Saturday. Volunteers, from all walks of life, have been working together for a decade and a half, to spread the seeds of love around the local community. Prior to the celebration, they held a press conference to highlight their past achievements.

The northeast of the US was hit by severe floods after three-days of heavy rain, beginning on Friday, March 12th. Made worse by melting snow, the downpour caused rivers in central and northern regions of New Jersey to break their banks, which forced hundreds to evacuate.
